I am no Prophet nor Messiah
Neither can I walk on water nor float in the air
I claim no strength – I cannot wrestle a bear
Nor would I wisdom – I end up clapping trying to swat a fly
Afterall, I am only Human who is subject to fear
It might sound ignorant of me to claim I know better
That my winter jacket could function through any weather
Or in a dinning hall of food for thought – I claim clever
Despite being thought to never say never
I am only Human – never blame me for trying to be better
The journey might be rough
I Might encounter a few hiccups
Experiences that would make me tough
Which might not even be enough
Afterall, I am only Human and this is my life’s handcuff
I make no excuses for my mistakes
Do not blame me for your lack of faith
I added no ingredient to the making of your pound cake
Look in the mirror if you want to challenge your fate
I am only Human – I can only carry my weight
Some people think I could solve their problem
So much they sing my name as an anthem
They hold my opinions to contempt
Until they are temporarily satisfied with their ransom
Afterall, I am only Human with my own looming problems
Do not force my opinion by making me lie
Do not request my apology if the truth makes you cry
Do not expect me to smoke just so you can get high
Every caterpillar needs to evolve to be called a butterfly
You are only Human – The laws of nature is something you must comply
I am no Prophet nor Messiah
Neither can I walk on water nor float in the air
I claim no strength – I cannot wrestle a bear
Nor would I wisdom – I end up clapping trying to swat a fly
Afterall, I am only Human who is subject to fear
